Meetings

In June 2026, partners of the AIDER project held their first online collaborative meeting to follow up on progress since the Valencia kick-off. The members of the Advisory Board joined the meeting to provide different points of view. The session was focused across all work packages to review early developments in the design and optimization of the Compton camera-based imaging system, discuss ongoing Monte Carlo simulation work, and coordinate next steps across work packages. Partners also used the meeting to address any emerging technical challenges, align on upcoming deliverables, and reinforce communication channels ahead of the next project milestones. The meeting reflected the consortium’s continued commitment to close collaboration as the project advances toward its goal of enabling image-based dosimetry in targeted radionuclide and alpha therapy.

On 17th October 2025, the consortium of the AIDER project, funded under the Euratom Research and Training Program, held its kick-off meeting at the Instituto de Física Corpuscular (IFIC, CSIC-UV) in Valencia. The meeting brought together the project’s consortium partners, including  a patient association from Spain, France, Germany, and Italy, to align on the project’s shared goal of developing an advanced Compton camera-based imaging tool to improve dosimetry in targeted radionuclide and alpha therapy for cancer treatment. Discussions covered the work plan, management structure, partner roles, and key milestones over the project’s four-year duration, running until August 2029. The event marked an important step in launching this collaborative effort to enhance imaging precision and ultimately improve the safety and personalization of cancer treatments.
