AiDER in Conferences

The results that led to the proposal and the goals and initial results of the AIDER project will be presented at the ECMP 2026 (https://ecmp2026.efomp.org/) in Valencia. The European Congress of Medical Physics is a biennial event that rotates between different countries in Europe and has as its main purpose the advancement and dissemination of medical physics technology and knowledge, and the promotion of the medical physics profession in Europe and worldwide. Members of the AIDER project consortium will be presenting their work at the IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium, Medical Imaging Conference and Room Temperature Semiconductor Detectors Symposium (IEEE NSS/MIC/RTSD 2026), taking place in Granada, Spain, from 7–14 November 2026. This is a leading international conference bringing together academics, engineers, medical physicists, and physicians working on radiation detectors and instrumentation, with applications spanning nuclear science, medical imaging, and beyond. AIDER partners will present five contributions on the advances for the project’s Compton camera-based imaging system, sharing insights on detector development, image reconstruction, and Monte Carlo simulation work:
